Master Filter Page

Hi

I am after some help, I am trying to save save space on my actual visual pages just for the reporting and calculations, however after all the filter slicers have been applied, does not leave much space for actual reporting content. I was looking to create one Page/tab which has all the reporting slicers in it (a kind of master filter page) then this then filters the reports across all pages.

I know you can sync slicers, however i have noticed i still need the actaual slicers to be on each page for the sync to work.

Does anyone know of a way to create a master filter page and remove the actual slicers from the individual reporting pages and still sync?

Hi,

  1. Create a slicer on the filter page and select it.
  2. In the View tab click button SyncSlicer.
  3. In the SyncSlicer pane activate the control buttons: on the left hand side which slicer should be synced and on the right hand side which slicer should be visible.

There is no need to copy the slicer from the filter page to the other pages. The activation of the control button executes it for you.

Not sure if you already considered or not. But Filter pane can be used. On the app, it can stay or hide as per need.
