Margin calculation

Hello BI-experts,

I have the following Row-data, with the calculated column "Margin%":

image.png
so far, so good.

BUT, when I display my data in a Tableview, I get following result:image.png

The value 65.5 is the average of 80 and 51

Is there any way to obtain the the right Margin (71.93%) for the product 1006547 on the table view?

Thanks for any help.

Best,

Kuona

Hi Kuona,

Change your margin calculated column to a measure and use the following formula:

Margin = SUM(Table[Benefit]) /  SUM(Table[Turnover])

This will work it out to 56.01 / 77.87, giving you the desired 71.93% result.

Hi JoHo,

MANY THANKS for the solution, worked like a charm.
