Mapping data from SQL server to existing tables

Hello,

I've imported data from a sql server and I'm trying to map the data from it to an existing Powerbi file. The names in the sql server are slightly different than the ones in the existing table (for ex. assignedTo instead of Assigned To) Would I have to change all the table names before mapping the data, and is there a quick way to replace all the table names in the sql data with the ones of the existing powerBI file? Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Hi @sleepyhedgehog ,

Q1. Yes, you need to make sure the field name in the dataset is the same as the field name in SQL Server. If different, the following error will be prompted when refreshing.

Q2. I noticed that you want to change the field name in the data source. Power BI does not support reverse editing of the data source, so you may need to go back to the data source, use GUI tools or enter SQL statements to change the column names.
