Hello,
I do have an issue with the map in power bi not showing every country which should be shown on the map.
In my example Russia and Switzerland somehow aren't highlighted in the map.
But the officially assigned country code table includes both of those countries. I got the map from wikipedia.
Anybody an idea what the issue here is?

Unfortunately, depents the result of the geocoding on the Power BI Desktop application language.

Hi @Paddhof1984,
Can you please share the sample data to test? It is hard to reproduce your issue without sample data.

@Anonymous
any update on this issue? Or is this a common known issue for bing maps integration in power bi?
opening your file on my computer I see Switzerland and Russia highlighted on the map;
Hm.
here both countries are color coded.
Thanks both of you for your feedback. Are there any Settings in MS PowerBI which I should consider to look at and which might be the reason, why the mentioned countries aren't highlighted in my map but are in yours?
I have to admit that this is very strange, for this reason I ask you to have a closer look here

In this post the 2letter ISO code is mentioned, maybe you have to try this one.
What version of Power BI Desktop do you use?
Hello @TomMartens
I am currently using following version: 2.48.4792.721 64-bit (Juli 2017)
Somehow, even if I just create the choropleth mapin Power BI Desktop and simply use Alpha3-code as filter, not every single country is highlighted on the map. Some countries, like Russia, Switzerland, Belgium and Marokko are missing highlighted on the map.
Hi @Paddhof1984,
Have you test to use your source data on another device? If it only at specific device, you can try to open a support to ask for help.
