Map and filled map visuals with Free trial
Hi,
I am using the Power BI 60 days free trial. Map and filled map visuals aren't enabled for your org. I do not have microsoft 365. I have separate license for Microsoft office. Is there any way I can see maps? Sometimes they magically appear by turining on and off the check box in File> Options and settings> Options>Security>Use Map and Filled Map visuals.
If I buy power BI Premium will this solve the issue? Or I still need to buy Microsoft 365 subscription?
Thanks. In short with current set-up of free power bi trial account without microsoft 365 the map visuals will not work. Because there are no admin/tenant settings.

You need connect your admin of power bi platform to enable the function Map and filled map visuals.
Admin portal -> Tenant settings -> Integration settings ->Map and filled map visuals

I mentioned in my post, it is a 60 day free trial. There are no tenant settings. I just see capacity settings.

It is not about free trial or premium license. Only the work workplace or school account can login the power bi. So please connect your organization, then let him assign you as one role of the following roles: Power BI admin, Power Platform admin, or Microsoft 365 global admin.
If you can not connect your admini, you can Sign up for a Microsoft 365 trial of Office to create a new tenant.
