Hi,
I am still on a trial period, using the PowerBI desktop and I can't seem to get the map visualition to work, it says it isn't enabled for my organisation.
I already tried the solution of going into the Options and Settings -> Security and ticked both the 'ArcGIS for Power BI' and 'Map and Filled Map visuals' checkboxes, but it is still giving me the same message.
It did work very briefly but suddenly switched back almost and gave the error message again, very strange.
Is this because I'm still on the trial?
Thanks,
Dom

Hi @dparker786 i checked the issue again and may be i gave you a wrong answer and you can try to register at portal azure services to get portal admin even with free license, take a look at the linked discussion:

Hi @dparker786
You need to connect your admin of Power BI platform to enable the function Map and filled map visuals.
Admin portal -> Tenant settings -> Integration settings ->Map and filled map visuals.

Thanks for your reply.
I don't seem to have that option available (see screenshot), perhaps it's because I'm just on the trial? I must be the admin as no one else has setup/installed PowerBI.
Thanks
Hi again if you are a single user without admin in your organization that has a pro license, then yes you can't use the maps with the trial.
