Howdy!
I would like to make map (cloropleth?) that displays the outlined or filled boundaries of property addresses. I have looked into custom tiles for mapbox and arcgis, but honestly not sure if this is the best place to start. Would be interested to know if this is even possible with the current out of the box visuals.
Thanks!
EDIT: Also, if it is necessary to get additional data for these bounderies, if anyone has any suggestions on which fed/state agencies to search that would also be a huge help!
Hi @Anonymous ,
Does shape map work?
Hi @v-frfei-msft !
Thanks for the reply.
After hearing your suggestion I was able to locate the shape files for a few of the regions I need and convert them to the TopoJSON file, as described in the documentation...
My issue now is that when I select the shape file in PBI Desktop, the canvas in PBI just goes white. When I try to save/close the file, it says "working on it" below, and the progress never seems to move beyond ~30% after waiting more than a half hour. Any ideas?
PBI after saving/closing once shape file is imported
Hi @Anonymous ,
Sorry for my late respond. Did you try to use the latest version of Power BI desktop to try again?
Hey, Thanks for following up.
I did all of this from the latest version of Desktop
