Hi All,
I am facing an issue to get the required results from two tables with many to many relationships. I created bridge table using DAX but the calculation is not working.
As shown below, I have Table1 and Table2. I need to get the table mentioned as required or a calculated column for Allocation2 column.Any help much appreciated.
Thanks,
Sam

Well, I don't normally answer questions when people force me to hand enter their data instead of posting it in a manner that can be easily copied and pasted or answer questions that don't adequately explain what they are trying to achieve, you don't have any explanation about where your Allocation2 column comes from.
But, all that being said, check out the attached PBIX, should solve your issue. They key measure is:
Measure = SUM(Table1[Allocation]) - SUMX(FILTER(Table2,[Date1]=MAX(Table1[Date])),[Allocation1])
But, you have to use it the right way. You want to use Category from your bridge table, [Date] from your Table1 and then that measure.
