Hi!
This is more of a modelling question than anthing else but let me try to explain.
I'm working with employee data connected where we are interested in monitoring the objective/project achievement rates - From departmental level up to organisational level. Currently the data is collected from another system and then I use the excel reports in PBI. BUT since the project performance is connected to individual employees this means that whenever they move from one department to another, they bring with them their projects and performance history. (How I could not consider that people move over time is another discussion..).
Would it be possible to model the data so that it is kept on department level rather than personal? Setting up keys in a certain way or building dim tables in a specific way
I'll give you an example of how my data looks like when collected (column titles)
Full name | Divison | Entity | Objective Title | Objective Progress (%) | Objective Target date | Employee number |
Thanks in advance!
