Making the default date filter interactive

I am looking for a way to make the default date slicer interactive, meaning whenever I click on the other visuals in the dashboard, lets say a line chart is having a date and I click on it , this default slicer should interact. I am not able to achieve this, are there any workarounds?

Hi @Anonymous 

In desktop , interaction is not effective for two visuals , Slicer and Q&A .

So if you choose field ‘Date’ as a slicer and then click a date in other visual ,there will be no changes to the slicer .

@Anonymous , I doubt you can do much with range slicer. But if you have bi-directional join slicer should respond.

Another way which found very useful is that put a measure in the slicer and check for not blank(again range it might not work)
