Making date based comparisons and clickable data filters

image.png

Hi,

1) I have my data pulled from GA, and a visual looking like this one above. What I would like to do is to have a second line on the visual presenting the previous selected period of time. And I basically do not know how to do it.

a) its pretty hard to do a filter that would affect all the vizuals on the page

b) i do not know how to add a second vizual to be set as 'comparable'

c) do not know how to set the comparing timeframes (I mean compare current 7 days to last 7 days, current month to last month, current quarter to last quarter, current year to last year, and custom data selector - i select 10 days, it compares current 10 days to last 10 days)

What would be also nice to have is a filter looking like a button, so i can click for example month and it shows the data for current and last month.

Please share the sample data and output.

Its just a column with date in a format (2019-07-18) and Pageviews as number so (4242), something like this
