Mailto link in Card Browser visual

Hi there,

 

I am using the Card Browser custom visual to display a list of employees with information such as their email address which I want to be a clickable link.

 

I know that a Mailto link will work within a table visual, but when I try incorporating this in the Card Browser visual I recieve an error saying "the link is malformed" upon clicking.

 

Is there a work around to this or does the Card Browser visual simply not support Mailto: links?

    Rob1408,

    Currently, hyperlinks in Card Browser must begin with http:// or https://,  Mailto: links are not supported in Card Broswer visual.

    We are only able to use  Mailto: links in table visuals.

      Do you know if Mailto: support will be added in the future?

        Rob1408,

        Please submit an feature request in Power BI Ideas forum. Once the idea accumulates many votes, Power BI team would consider to add this feature.

      Hello Anonymous,

       

      I am also facing the same issue. It isn't working even when my hyperlinks start with http or https. Please guide me further.
