Mail statistics from several mailboxes
Good day to everyone,
I would like to set up a report, which will allow me to see how many emails are sent and received by the purchase department, on the Microsoft Exchange server.
I have set up an administrator account, which has full rights and access to all the purchase department mailboxes. However, when I am connecting the administrator account to the Microsoft Exchange account, the mailbox database is empty.
Is there any way to view the data from several, through an admin account? Any lead will be greatly appreciated.

You are right.
Export your sent/received email data into a CSV file.
Import into Power BI, use Power BI’s Power Query Editor to clean and transform your data as needed.
Once your data is loaded and transformed, you can start creating visualizations and reports based on your email data.

You can set up a report through the Microsoft 365 Administration Center or the Exchange Administration Center to see the number of emails sent and received by the purchasing department. Here are some steps you can try:
Using Microsoft 365 Admin Center. In the admin center, go to the Reports > Usage page.

Hello, thank a lot for a lot for your answer. I have looked over the links.
So in order to create this report for sent/received emails, I will need to export the data on csv format and then, incorporate the data from the csv file into Power BI, am I right?Hi Jess_54785

I have tried to look for solutions, however I was not able to retrieved the mailboxes data :
- Giving the adminstrator account Microsoft Office 365 licence + PBI licence.
- Using the OData Feed connector/Azure and Azure Resource Graph.
- Delegate the mailboxes.
