MTD average

I want to have a MTD calculation and a MTD average thru the month.  I can get a MTD with TOTALMTD function, but I have no clue on how to divide this MTD on the day of the month to get the average. I...

Peavey , I case you need average of sum of daily

 

MTD = CALCULATE(AverageX(values('Date'[Date]), calculate(SUM(Table[Qunatity Produced])) ),DATESMTD('Date'[Date]))

amitchandak Yes, average sum of MTD on the current day.

 

I tried your formula but did not get an average, just the same MTD value, see picuture:

      Hi Peavey ,

       

      Maybe you can try this expression:

      AvgMTD = 
CALCULATE(AVERAGE('Table'[Quantity Produced]),all(),DATESMTD('Table'[Date]))

      Result:

      Pbix in the end you can refer.
