MTD Actuals sales not displaying as expected

Hi there - I am relatively new to Power BI and trying have a sales visual tracking MTD sales v MTD budget.

I have the calculation sorted to return the MTD values as expected, I have the dates from the two seperate data sources (Budget & Actual) linked (and both correct date format) however the Actuals MTD is showing as flat final number and Budget MTD line is displaying as expected. Any suggestions or feedback would be appreciated.

The graph displays the same regardelss of which date field (Actuals date or Budget date) for the x-axis.

Hi @swoods2807

Are you using a separate dates table or did you just create a relationship between the two fact tables? If you are already using a separate dates table, use the date column from this.

Otherwise please provide a workable sample data (not an image), your expected result from the same sample data and your reasoning behind. You may post a link to an Excel or pbix file stored in the cloud.

Great thanks - per your suggestion I have used the seperate dates table to drive the MTD and also the x-axis and now working as required.
