Hi,
I'm having trouble with my dashboard visuals in MS Power Bi. It was working just fine up to April 30th, but after May 1st, visuals simply stopped refreshing. When I access the Power Query Editor, though all my data is up to date, just the visuals can't refresh. When I deleted my queries and re-connected them to my dashboard, re-making every visual, data was refreshed normally. But it would be extremelly inconveninet if I had to reconect every data sheet to Power Bi all over again, every turn of the month, please tell me if I am making any mistakes, or if anybody has had any similar problems with desktop visuals. My database is stored in a single MS Excel workbook, but in several different worksheets.
TIA,
Gabriel Bozza

I would be inclined to open a support ticket. Switching months does not impact visual refreshes. If your data set is truly refreshing, the visuals should just work.
Make sure your Scheduled Refresh settings in the service are correct. Since you are accessing Excel data through Power Query, the service will need to periodically refresh data. Also, does it refresh if you select the dataset elipses menu and force it to "REFRESH NOW?"
DAX is for Analysis. Power Query is for Data Modeling
