Looking for a table/matrix isual that has a filter in between headers and data

Hi there!

I have a table with several columns with different types of data. What I'm looking for, is a way to show a filter in each column like this:

In this example I entered value 'Accountant' in the first column and I works as a contains filter. This behaviour would be a plus, but I'm foremost looking for a way to display the data + filter option like in the screenshot. It's fine for now if the filter works as default in PowerBI.

Hi @RLE ,

Based on the information you have provided, you can achieve your purpose by Get more visuals, you can follow these steps below:

1.Add Text Filter visual.

2.Select Text Filter and put Name inside.

Hi Ada,
That's a great visual, which solves the filter aspect of my question. Certainly has as a nicer look to it than a regular slicer. Definitely going to use this, thank you!

The main question I have is if there is a visual out there that combines this searching behaviour, integrated in one visual with the table. That puts the filter option between the header and rows. So that the structure is more like this:

Header

Empty row to filter each coloumn seperately

Data row 1

Data row 2

Data row 3

Etc.

Maybe somebody recognizes this concept in an already available visual. To prevent that I need to start taking courses on how to build my own visual...

Thanks again and I hope you have some extra tips & tricks.

On a sidenote: Is it possible that you edit the subject, I see that I left in a typo. 'isual' instead of 'visual'....
