Looking at highest rank data aggregated?

Hello,

I am building a dashboard where I am looking to compare Purchase Order data and Invoice data. They are combined in the data set. There is a PO Number (PO_CustPO) and Invoice Number as well as info like PO_Amount & Invoice_Amount.

Often there are instances where a PO is submitted, and then a correcting one is submitted later, and this reflects in the data under PO_Version. (Theres not a way or reason we would want to get rid of previous version). What I need to do is look only at the rows/lines of data that are the highest PO version. So in this example, i only want my tables/graphs on the dash to pay attention to the lines that have PO version 2. what is the best way to do this?

Hi  @hannahwe ,

If you want to display [PO_Version] as 2 in Visual, you can make the following settings in Filter:

Filter type  --  Basic filtering -- 2

Rerfer to:

Add a filter to a report in Power BI - Power BI | Microsoft Learn

This does not work because there are invoices with only PO_Version =1 and I need those, too.
