Hi, I am facing issue of logarithmic scale greyaed out in all at least 3 types of the graphs - linear, scatter, stacked area charts. Is there any option to enable the logarithmic scale?
I have imported data by SQL.
Version: 2.108.603.0 64-bit (August 2022)
Thanks in advance.
LR
for log(0) does not exist, verify it with a calculator 😉
Yes, and...? You know it is possible to code a UI element that will not display a pixel for undefined values, but will display pixels for defined values. So you could have a log graph with discontinuities. Therefore there is no good reason for greying out the log scale option.
Same here. @Anonymous @v-nikitasahu @Anonymous
Does someone at Microsoft have a resolution for this?
I had this issue and although my data was all more than 0 it didn't like my range being auto or 0, I played with the range (min = 0.001 worked for me) and it worked.
Thank you Helper I
not applicable with me.
From quick research, it seems that PBI takes away the logarithmic scale option if you have values <= 0. See article this article. Power BI Switching between Logarithmic and Linear Scales - Mi4 Blog
