Location data from monthly to weekly level

Hello,

 

I have location data for machines, on a monthly level (machine - location id - yearmonth), which I would like to transform into a weekly level. This would mean duplicate values for all weeks of the month, which is fine. 

 

I would also like to connect this data to my calendar table, which is difficult without a date key I feel. If I connect the year weeks in the two tables I run into a "many to many" relationship..

    Hi, Anonymous ；

     

    I'm not very clear about your question. First of all, is your yearmonth based on date? If it's based on date, you can use weeknum() to find the weekly level; Then use date and calendar table to establish keyword connection, which is a one to many relationship.

    If there is no date, there is no way to locate its week.

    If  not resloved, please provide me with more details about your table and
    your problem or share me with your pbix file\image after removing sensitive data.
