Hi I want to build something like loan calculator/simulator. Based on on few what-if parameters.
How can I create a dynamic table what will show all payments with corresponding payment value like in this example?
Of course when the value of loan years will change, also the number of rows in that table will increase/decrease.
Hi, @kageyoshi777 ;
With power bi measure, you can refer to the PPMT function.
PPMT function (DAX) - DAX | Microsoft Learn
Since this is similar to the recursive function, the stake is decreasing every month, so I think that dynamic measures are more difficult to achieve each month of presentation, but can achieve the overall value.
Recursion usually uses PQ, but PQ is static.
DAX financial functions: Loan calculations - Simple Talk (red-gate.com)
