Dear Experts
A business user has asked me to prepare a PBI report based on the below raw data in excel.
This information is supplied to me every month using same file but different tabs. Going forward the user itself will maintain the file every month so it can be seen on the PBI.
I have tried to import this file in to PBI which is not giving any clear value in my report. Besides the report is getting wider as 30 columns every month. Also not sure how the date can be filtered at the report level.
Any suggession please how this excel file can be pulled in to PBI without much modification work on the excel.
Thanks
Mahad
@Anonymous , while importing check if is giving the option to choose table not sheet, or ask the user to mark these two as tables.
Once that is done you should be able to get two tables. Select the first three tables and use unpivot other columns.
if need to append these tables after unpivot
