Load stuck on Evaluating when using an Oracle Native Query

If I do an import table, it works fine but when I try a native query on the same data source, it gets stuck on EVALUATING. I've waited for hours, changed the parallel load option, privacy settings, cleared cache and background data settings, and nothing is working. I've ran the query on the database and it works. It's around 200K rows of data.

Anything else I could try?

Could not figure out what's wrong, but IT installed an older version of Oracle (12.2) and now it's working

Hi @Anonymous

Seems you have tried all the possible solutions I have found... When you try the native query, you are connecting in import mode or directquery mode? If it is possible to monitor the queries the Oracle DB received from Power BI and their duration time? Or you can modify the native query to only query a small number of rows rather than the whole table and check if it can be evaluated quickly?

You may refer to this topic: Long time "Evaluating..." for no apparent reason during data import. Can it be made faster?
