Load data from database based on a condition

Hi Team,

Is it possible to load the data from database based on a condition.

For example,

I have a list of "username", "email id" columns in a table called "Userslist".

In Sales table : I have employeename, sales on Direct mode.

I need to create a condition in powerquery to load the data only when the user from Userlist logs into the report. 

if anybody else, the table should not load. 

I cant use RLS/OLS because these users are at Contributor level.

Hi @LP280388 ,

As you said, RLS will fail when the user has edit permission. You might consider data masking. Please refer to this blog:

@V-lianl-msft Thanks for the response.

however, this doesnt work for the contributor level access as he mentioned below. I need to hide data for someone who is at contributor level.
