Lining up tiles with same dimension......

Hi All,

I often have this kind of design in mind when building dashboards/reports:

Where I have multiple visualisations/tiles which have a common dimension, the above was part of a dashboard I built in Tableau, where, with a bit of fiddling, you can get things to line up quite nicely.

I can't seem to get this kind of thing in Power BI - mainly because I can't select a 'fit to height' type option for each tile.

Has anyone tackled this kind of thing in Power BI?  Any tips and tricks/ideas for getting something like this working?

Anyone aware if this has been raised as an Idea?

Cheers

Mark

    Hi

Maybe I am misunderstanding your question but between the "Alignement" and "Distribute" buttons in the desktop ribbon and "General" format settings for each visual, I am able to line things up pretty mush to the T.

Under the general formatting tab you can set X and Y positions as well as width and height for each visual, surely this is all you need for lining things up perfectly.

A snap to grid feature would be nice though.

Thanks, I think a lot of my issue is being used to Tableau, need to get my head around some different methods of doing things.

One thing stopping me doing what I would like is not having rows/Y-axis for line graphs - so that you can have something like this which I could then line up with the other tiles, seems I need to create a line graph for each member of the dimension?:

    Cheers
