Line value column showing up as a point

Hi all - i am having an issue where i plot a stacked column chart with line and i added a measure as the "Line Value" amount, which i want to show as a trend ceiling line above my stacked column char...

Anonymous Part I'm confused if you have only one category on x-axis how you expect to see the trend line, can you share some screenshots and explain the issue.

    Thanks for the response. I have attached the example graph above. Apologies, maybe my nomenclature was off. What i mean is that i want the "green" dot to show up as a reference/max line rather than a point. However, the "analytics" pane shows nothing for a stacked column chart, while some other visuals have that option. Please let me know how i can do that.
