Line value column showing up as a point
Hi all - i am having an issue where i plot a stacked column chart with line and i added a measure as the "Line Value" amount, which i want to show as a trend ceiling line above my stacked column chart. However, since i have only one category on my "shared axis", the value is showing up as a point rather than a trend "line". I went into the analytics pane but there is no option to plot a trend line on a stacked column chart. Why won't they just add that feature in every visualization ? I don't understand.
Can anyone tell me if there is a straightforward way to show the value as a "line" rather than just a point. I can make a sample graph real quick to illustrate my point, but i am guessing someone else here would have run into the same issue as well.

Anonymous Part I'm confused if you have only one category on x-axis how you expect to see the trend line, can you share some screenshots and explain the issue.
Thanks for the response. I have attached the example graph above. Apologies, maybe my nomenclature was off. What i mean is that i want the "green" dot to show up as a reference/max line rather than a point. However, the "analytics" pane shows nothing for a stacked column chart, while some other visuals have that option. Please let me know how i can do that.
