Hello, just wanna ask why my line chart shows different form my line chart in excel?
Here's my chart in excel
and here's my chart in Powerbi
and i just noticed that on the y axis my excel shows -1, -0.5 etc while on Power Bi only shows 0, 1, 2. How to format the line chart in power bi like excel? Thanks in advance.
Hi @xRTP ,
Are there entities in the table for these blank values? If not, you will need to complete the corresponding entity records.
Also check if data type is correct after loading excel data to Power BI.
It is better to share some sample data and expected result.
Best Regards,
Jay
@xRTPunfortunately you can't control this. It's set by default by the values you have. I actually do get the 0.5 on my charts. Adding a sample file:
Line chart table 2022-07-10.pbix
Did you touch the Y axis limits and altered it from auto? That would cause the 0.5 marks to disappear.
Hello, no i didnt alter the y axis limits. I think i know the problem. The thing is my line chart doesnt go to zero it only lands on 1, how to set the line would land on zero and 1?
Here's my matrix, 0 values treats it as blank
@xRTP so you need to change them to 0 before you load the table to the model. You can do that in Power Query through replace values null with 0
@SpartaBI, actually that column have text in it i only count them depends on entries. Any possible solution?
