    I have figured out the issue.  The scaling isn't working because of a measurement I have that is a single integer in a table that I created inside Power BI.

nsadams87xx,

I am unable to reproduce this issue in Power BI September 2018 version. When you convert the Line chart to other type of visuals such as table visual, are you able to filter the visual as expected using the year slicer?

In addition, could you please share PBIX file via Private Message so that I can repro?

    Unfortunately I cannot share the .pbix file due to my organization's compliance and the data involved.  However, here is a screenshot of the visualization as a table and the date slicer selected for 2018.
