Line Graph Errors

Hello all,

I had a file where I created this line graph:

I did this based off the following:

My Y axis:

My Date table on the x axis and the Question on the legend.

I've created a new file where I have created the same thing but the line graph is just showing straight lines:

My Y axis:

Just like the first time, my Date table on the x axis and the Question on the legend.

Anyone know why this is happening? They are literally identical to each other.

    Hello,

Thank you for checking in. This weekend I actually figured out the issue. I re-write my calendar table that was specififc to my fact able:

Once I connected the tables in the model view it worked.

Originally, I had a generic calendar table like in my intital post.

I do thank you for your willingness to help.

    Regards!

  • Hi, would it be possible you upload your pbix file so that other users can have a look? It looks like your Date table in the new file is missing a proper relationship with the fact table and the date table is not filtering the fact table correctly.

      Hello,

I tried to upload my file but you have to be a SuperUser (which I truly do not understand).

Correct the regular users would only be able to upload files through google drive or other ways.

  • Hi e175429,

Checking in to see if your issue has been resolved. If not share the pbix file for reference so we can help to resolve the issue.

    Thank you.
