Line/Column Chart Not Working :-(

Hello!

I am trying to create a line and column chart to show number of crashes per month compared to the amount of total shipments per month. I currently have a column chart with number of crashes per month which is fine, but when I try to add in the line portion, it just shows a stright line. The data I took it from literally is just a table of Month and Number of Occurances (picture included). How do I fix this to show the correct number of occurances per month? I've tried using Count, Count (Distinct), Min, Max, Average... everything.

Do I need to set my table up differently? Why won't PBI just plot the numbers I asked it to...

@sy898661,

It seems that you drag data from two tables. You might need to check the relationship.

Sam,

I added a relationship between the Date of the orignal data and the Month of the new table and now the graph is messed up.

This is before adding the relationship:

and this is After I added the relationship (it wont let me change it either):

Is there a way to fix this?

Also, the line portion is still just showing a straight-across line.

Thank you so much for the help!
