Line Chart

Hello 😀

We have a set of data in excel which produces a chart (example below). Super easy to do within excel with highlighting the cells. I'm stumped on how to transition it over onto a Power BI visual - I'm using the basic LINE CHART but I can't see how you would add the P01 - P13 as the Axis.  Can't see anything that would be similar as highlighting the cells to great the titles for the series.

Any help would be appreciated

@Shelley-Baynton , In power bi you might have to unpivot the data to get this. Then P01, P02 etc will become rows and you can use this new column in axis

Here's the error message

Hi @Shelley-Baynton ,

I could reproduce your issue by my test. This is my M code.

let
    Source = Table.FromRows(Json.Document(Binary.Decompress(Binary.FromText("i45WMlTSUTIEEUZGQMLYGMQCE6YgCaVYnWglI0wlJsZgQRO4GmMUNSYmcBPALBOl2FgA", BinaryEncoding.Base64), Compression.Deflate)), let _t = ((type nullable text) meta [Serialized.Text = true]) in type table [Type = _t, P01 = _t, P02 = _t, P03 = _t, P04 = _t, P05 = _t, P06 = _t]),
    #"Changed Type" = Table.TransformColumnTypes(Source,{{"Type", Int64.Type}, {"P01", Int64.Type}, {"P02", Int64.Type}, {"P03", Int64.Type}, {"P04", Int64.Type}, {"P05", Int64.Type}, {"P06", Int64.Type}}),
    #"Unpivoted Other Columns" = Table.UnpivotOtherColumns(#"Changed Type", {"Type"}, "Attribute", "Value")
in
    #"Unpivoted Other Columns"

What is your data source? Could you please share your PBIX file without sensitive data?

Thank you!

The instructions created an error on the data BUT the video tutorial https://youtu.be/T8Ekr_sLP-0 worked perfectly!

Hi @amitchandak

When I unpivot the P01-P13 columns it creates an error on all cells of data.
