Line Chart - Default Selection

I have two line charts, one showing data by Region and one by Plant.  When you select a Region from the first chart, the second chart filters by the plants in that Region.  When these initially load however, there are only 5 regions (no problem) but there are 37 plants in total and the chart is not 'nice' to look at with 37 lines!

Can I set these two charts to load with Region = East and the Plant chart showing only plants in Region East? 

Can I load the Plant Chart ONLY when a region is selected, therefore removing the ALL Plants view?

This we can do with visual filter select only East Region.

But this is not possible . bec we can't set this based on other chart selection. 

But i think we can do this while the region is selted on any Slicer. but visual interaction we can't.
