Limits of size of data source in power bi premium

Hi community,

I would like to connect power bi premium to a large volume database table with over than 300GB through Azure Analytics services.

Is there a limitation of size in this case? I saw that i can go throught 10 gb maximum in the workspace with 1 GB maximum per dataset.

In my case i will go with direct connecttion, what do you recommand?

Thank you in advance!

Regards

Hi, @Nour-pbi

Dataset size limit - There's a 1-GB limit for datasets stored in Shared capacities in the Power BI service. If you need larger datasets, you can use Power BI Premium

In a Premium capacity,  Storage is set to 100 TB per capacity node.

Depending on the SKU, Power BI Premium supports uploading Power BI Desktop (.pbix) model files up to a maximum of 10 GB in size. When loaded, the model can then be published to a workspace assigned to a Premium capacity. The dataset can then be refreshed to up to 12 GB in size.

Hello @amitchandak thank you for you response. I see that the Model size limit is 400GB, however Maximum storage (Governance and administration)is set to 100TB, what is the difference between Model size limit and Maximum storage?
