Limit import based on date

I am importing two Excel spreadsheets into Power BI Desktop. Currently, I am merging one that is a rolling set of data that refreshed every morning and contains 31 previous days into a sheet that is filled out manually starting from 6/28/19 which will only continue to grow as data is added. Can I set a filter up so that Power BI will import data from the manual sheet that matched up with the rolling dates?

Thanks!

Hi @Anonymous ,

It is not available to import rolling data within Power BI Desktop. I would suggest publishing your report and looking into setting up a scheduled refresh. Then your data will be imported automatically.

Check out the following link for more information on data refresh:

https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/powerbi-refresh-data/

Xue
