Hello, I have two graphs on one page that shows the same graph but filtered by different data in order to emphasise one graph that is larger/bolder font. Is it possible for the legend to apply to both graphs, so when I click on the legend (as you can see in the photo), it highlights both graphs?
Alternatively if not, since I am using two graphs to emphasise a filtered data, is it possible to highlight this with different font or larger bar without it being a second graph. As far as I am aware, using a shape to circle it may be my best option but I'm certain this will look good.
Hi, @Idrissshatila and @Anonymous, when I add a slicer and add the field 'Age Group' which is also as the legend. it gives me the option to filter but this messes up the graphs as it a stacked bar chart and working out the proportion. It also does not resemble colour of the legend key. Ideally it would match the colour of the key and when you click on it, it doesn't act as a filter, instead highlights.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Ahh I see what you're saying.
so select both visuals, go to View - Selection then right click (both should be selected) then click group. See if this works 🙂 thanks!
Thanks for your help but sadly this still does not work - maybe it is not possible. I'm moving from Tableau at the moment which merges legends automatically so they will apply for every graph on the page. Mine has two legends but I hide the one for the bottom graph and usually clicking on the top legend on Tableau would affect both graphs but does not on this. Maybe it is not a feature yet.
Add a Slicer for Legend to your page 🙂 This should help! Good luck!
Hello @ShaunGibbs23 ,
Why don't you add this legend Field as a slicer and you can click on it and will be applied to both graphs.
If I answered your question, please mark my post as solution so it would appeare to others, Appreciate your Kudos 👍
