Happy Friday! Trying to have this video out for a while, and finally, here it is.
This video will take you through the whirlwind of data preparation and walk through the strength and flexibility of Power Query, an essential tool for your Power BI toolkit. Buckle up and prepare for an exciting ride!
So, here's the deal: imagine a customer who wants to set some rules for their business, like what products to focus on in different countries. They want to keep these rules in a SharePoint list or Excel file. With Power Query, we can filter the data based on these rules. And the cool part? The rules can be about anything, like filtering for products only in Canada, or products that are bikes and are red in color.
It might sound a bit strange, but it's an interesting challenge that I've been working on for a while, and I'm excited to share it with you. I hope you learn something new from it! Feel free to share your thoughts and feedback – I'd love to hear your thoughts. Let's make sense of this together!
