Latency processing Power BI tasks

Hi All,

The processing speed in Power BI has degraded in the last few weeks. I am running a G8 series laptop. It is taking 10-15 minutes to run queries and data merges. Had her try on a VPC and i experienced the same issue. Talked to another Power BI user and he stated seeing the same thing. Can anyone please help me to investigate the change in processing speed in BI.

@Anonymous , Daily refresh should happen in Power BI service. Not sure why it is getting done at desktop

You can increase data management cache under Options & settings

Go to File-> Options and settings -> Options -> Security Option -> Data Load
Change Data Cache to 8-10 GB
