Keeping tiles in synch with their visual after change in filters

Hi all,

We have a simple card visual on report.  We have pinned that card to a dashboard and created an alert based on the corresponding tile. We recently applied an additional filter to the card visual on the report but the tile does not seem to be affected by the new filter, only by the original ones.  Two questions:

1. How can we get all of the new filters in the card to be applied to the tile?

2. Is there any way to know what visual the tile on the dashboard is linked to? We plan to have a significant number of tiles and would like to keep track

@AlB You need to repin the visual to the dashboard. As far as I know there is no automatic update. The dashboard tile takes on the filters at the time of the pinning. The tile updates when data is refreshed but the filters present on the tile always remain the same as when it was pinned.

By repinning you'd be creating a new tile? We have an alert attached to the original tile, will we have to rebuild the alert?
