Keeping same color of column charts

Hi there,

I am using line and clustered column chart column. Column chart also has column legend value which means that for every value of x-axis, there are two column charts. The column chart compares the performance of two different call agents. When I select/change the name of call agents the color of column charts also changes. I want to keep fixed color for both column charts. Is there any way of doing that?

Hi @Dunner2020 ,

You can change colors under "Columns" for legend manually.

If you want to dynamically change the color for legend, unfortunately it is not supported currently.

Hello,

Than you for the post.

I have the same need of coloring bar charts according to legend value.

The following table was created :

but, when [Année] field is used as legend in a chart, visual formatting does not offer dynamic coloring upon field value (Color -> "fx"), only static coloring for each existing value :

The tutorial posted by miTutorials does not cover this case (only coloring upon field used as axis, not legend).

Does someone know whether it might be included in a futur version of PBI?

With my best regards,

Arnaud
