Keep Filters active when pop-up closed (Using buttons)

Hello all,

I am currently designing a dashboard where extra filters are available to user through a pop-up window that is opened and closed by buttons that triggers bookmarks (One where pop-up window is visible and one where it is not).

The only problem is that applied filters are cleared whne the pop-up window is closed. I need the filters to stay as they are; even when they are made invisible when pressing the button to close the window.

Can anyone be of assistance?
