Hello,
I have a measure FY24sales total = calculate(sum(sales), year="2024"), say $100
Another measure FY25sales total=calculate(sum(sales), year="202"), say $150
3rd measure target = FY24sales total*1.1,
when i create a kpi, my target does not work, it shows as 0,
but if i manually create a measure target = $110, it will work.
Can someone explain why?
Many thanks
Zoey

Hi @zraopingm ,
A KPI visual requires a base measure that evaluates to a value, a target measure or value, and a threshold or goal.
If you don't think this is the visual object you want, you can try using card.

Hi @some_bih ,
Thanks for your quick response.
Hi @zraopingm ,
I have created a simple sample, please refer to my pbix file to see if it helps you.
It works well, please make sure you put the year field in the trend axis.

hi Rongtie,
thank you for taking the extra steps! this means a lot.
If i used the date table field say "year" into the tread axis, it works.. but if i used the time from the trans table where the sum of data resides in, it wont work.. is this normal?
In other words, do we have to use date table fields for KPI?

Hi @zraopingm based on your posts, it is not clear hou you use these measures, like matrix with/ without slicer....

Hi @zraopingm
Check red part of your measure
Another measure FY25sales total=calculate(sum(sales), year="202"), say $150
it could be typo as you only wrote 202, not 2025?
