Joining CSV files

Hi all,

Power BI is slowely becoming easier but I have an issue and can't find a suitable solution.

I have 2 csv files. The first one have Subject, Location, First name, Last name, Start and End time.

The second one have first name, last name, file id, division.

Similar to sql i want to use a joint to find the people who match first and last name and just add columns for their file id and division.

Power BI is saying that one of the columns must have unique id so the above doesnt work.

Any ideas how to work around this?

Thank you!
Anna

I've figure that one out. If anyone is struggling too, make sure the format is the same and use merge queries. Once merged, you can build relationships.

Try making a new column merging the first/last names together? If that's still not unique then you're probably out of luck
