I'm currently trying to get data from my JIRA project onto PowerBI using the RestAPI data source input. The JIRA instance that I use has hundreds of projects on it, so I need the source to limit what is brought back on the JQL otherwise there will be hundreds of thousands of issues coming back which will fall foul of the API maxresult limit.
To set up the source I have tried(scrubbed for company data):
and
However both are pulling back all the records from JIRA (up to the limit) which do not fall under the JQL filter in jira.
Can anyone help with how I can get the software to follow the JQL filter and only return items from that to powerbi?
Hi @ibrad ,
Sorry, I don't have a JIRA account and I can't test it.
What you get from the JIRA content package on the Power BI service is provided by the JIRA REST API. So you can also get help here.

You can also try to connect to the data source by using a different connector.
