Hi all,
I am after some help please.
I have a table visual which is pulling data from a couple of different data tables. I have a list of "application names" and I am trying to filter them by the last time each application was updated. When I filter by last updated, it gives me the same date for every application rather than the last date each specific application was updated.
I am wondering if this could possibly be something to do with a lack of relationship between the two tables the data is being pulled from, as a new data table was introduced and I can see there is no relationship set up.
Any help would be massively appreciated.
Thanks.

Now got a new issue, the date now doesn't correspond to the orignal date from the "last updated" coloumn from the original table.
For anyone else reading, I have managed to solve the issue. I created a new index column in each table, then was able to link the two tables that way, then add the "date updated" column into the table with "application name". This then automatically resolved the date issue.
Hello @AndrewMarkham86,
Instead of directly pulling in the "Last Updated" column, can you please try creating a DAX measure that dynamically finds the latest update per application.
Last Updated Date =
CALCULATE(
MAX('Update Table'[Update Date]),
ALLEXCEPT('Update Table', 'Update Table'[Application Name])
)
Would I be able to do this, with the fact the it is pulling the data from two different data tables. It is pulling the "application name" from one table and "updated date" from another?
Thank you.
Hi @AndrewMarkham86 issue is likely due to the lack of a relationship between your tables could you try these
I have tried to create a relationship between the two tables, however because there is no unique value between the two tables it won't let me.
Thank you.
