Issues with data export from matrix visualization

Hello everybody!

I am once again experiencing issues with the infamous matrix visualization (although I suspect this might be the last issue I had with it 😄 ).

I have constructed a report to track whether teams within my organization have completed a task. I track this completion on the lowest team level within a hierarchy path and summarize the completion status on above team, department, business unit and division level. Thanks to the help of many users I have achieved a very satisfying result as you can see attached:

My hierarchy spans 8 levels. Only a few teams on the lowest level of their respective hierarchy path are on level 8, others are on level 7 and level 6.

In the next step I want to export the data and run a java script over it to contact the teamleads via e-mail to request them to complete their task (the blacked out area contains their e-mail address). However, when I export the data to Excel, I only get the data for the teams on the lowest level (L8). Those are the only teams that have L8 filled in the raw data:

Data I get when I export right from the matrix visualization and import to Excel:

Is there a way to export all the teams up to level 2? If not I will construct a table that gives me L5 (on that level I want to contact teamlead => supervisor of the teams that have to do task) to the teams that have to do the task and run an export from there.

Many thanks in advance and kind regards

Marcel

Did you know you can run DAX queries against your dataset right from Excel?  No need to export anything?
