Hi Everyone
I have a slicer, ResourceLongName, on a report page with a number of card visuals. When I select a name from the ResourceLongName slicer, the card visuals show me the information pertaining just to that individual. When I have nothing selected on the slicer, the visuals give me irrelevant info so I want them to appear blank. To do so I created a measure as follows:
Does anyone know why this is the case or how I can fix it?
Cheers
LilMurph
Hi @LilMurph ,
Please have a try.
Create a measure.
Measure =
CALCULATE ( IF ( ISFILTERED ( 'Table'[date] ), 1, 0 ), ALLSELECTED ( 'Table' ) )
Add this measure to visual level filters, and set its value to 1.
If I have misunderstood your meaning, could you please provide a pbix file without privacy information and desired output.
Best Regards

Hi @Anonymous ,
So I have already done all of that, the issue I am having is that on the filters pane, the dropdown menu under 'Show items when the value' will not respond. When I click on it nothing happens. It is stuck on 'Is less than' and even then I cannot type a value in the box below.
The measure I have created is added as a filter on the visual, but that's all I can do. I cannot specify what it should be filtered as. I click on the text box and nothing happens, I click on the dropdown menu and nothing happens.
The same problem is happening for the filter for the field that the visual actually contains.
But it is not an issue if I try any other field as a filter.
I don't understand why it wont work.
I am having this same problem - did you ever get a fix?
