Issue in connecting excel pivot table and power bi

Hi.. Hope all are doing good

I connected Excel pivot table with power bi through get data. I had no issues in connecting power bi and Excel, but I faced issues while loading the Excel Pivot Table data into visualization(data is broken and rows and columns are mismatched while loading into visualization).

Please help me to solve my problem.. Thanks in advance 🙂

@bhavadharani , Prefer to load the data, not pivot. Pivot data is already aggregated, so new visual aggergation will be on top of it.

In such a count, there will be a sum here.

distinctcount will sum and may not match.

edit

In between, also noticed same issue on snowflake. Better check and log an issue too, if needed- https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Issues/idb-p/Issues

If this does not help
Can you share sample data and sample output in table format? Or a sample pbix after removing sensitive data.

Hi,

No you cannot.  You can only load the Data Model and/or query Tables into PowerBI Desktop.

Hi,

Share the 2 files - Excel and PBI and clearly show the problem.  Also, show the expected result there.
