Is there a way to import an Analysis Service model(tabular) into powerbi desktop?

Hi,

I have looked around and could not find a right/definitive answer for my question.

Is there a way to import an Analysis Service model(tabular) into powerbi desktop?

We need to use some connectors that arent available in analysis service. The problem is that the model already have a significative size(lots of tables and measures), so it would be very hard to rebuild it from 0.

@Anonymous ,

Yes, power bi has provided two kinds of connection mode, you can select "import" mode.

Hi, thanks for the answer i've already tried this option but i always get the following error message:
"DataSource.Error: AnalysisServices: You have reached the maximum allowable memory allocation for your tier. Consider upgrading to a tier with more available memory."

Do you have any clue how i can fix it? I dont get why hes talking about SASS maximum memory because i'm importing it to my local machine.

I would suggest you create a support ticket here.

Looks like you have the option of either linking or importing
