Is there a way to drill trough based on conditions

The scenario is, the Source column having multiple values and need to apply below scenarios

Source is equaled to Purchasing (When I click on Purchasing it should drill through the Purchasing view)

Source is equaled to Payables (When I click on Payables it should drill through the Payables view)

For the rest of the values that are in the source column, it should not show the drill through option and drill through should show only for Purchasing and Payables.

Hi @Anonymous ,

The only way you can limit it is by applying drillthrough action on the whole column.

In your case you want it on specific values of your column.

There is an update that came up in May 2020:

Check this if this helps.

HI @Anonymous ,

The scenario what you just mentioned, drill-through should ideally work.

Supoose you have this column of your's on a table visual. It will have multiple values. Now if you select one of the value and then drill-through, it should lead you to a filtered information on your drill-thtough create page.

Can you explain more on your issue with some screesnhots?

Thanks,

Pragati

Hi,

Thanks for sharing your view very quickly...!!

Below is my detailed explanation of my requirement:

Case 1: If JE Source column values are equals to 'Payables' then it should show the Payables view in drill through and the target report should filter for payables.

Case 2: If JE Source column values are equals to 'Purchasing' then it should show the Requisition view in drill through and the

target report should filter for Purchasing.

Case 3: For other values in the source column drill through should not enable.

Can you guide me if this is possible in Power BI Desktop

Thanks in advance..!!

Hi @Anonymous ,

Drillthrough is set-up in Power BI on a column value.

I am not sure whether if it is possible to enable/disable drill-through feature on column values - like enabling for some and disabling for some.

Thanks,

Pragati

Thanks @Pragati11  for your patience...!!

One more thing can we limit the drill through based on condition  like as below:

Instead of showing all the drill throughs :
